Shotcreting is carried out in one or several layers depending on the layer thickness, type and speed of shortcrete mass stiffening under compressed air pressure.
Spaying of shotcrete mass is carried out by means of conrete- guns (cement-throwing jets). Sprayed covering layer is characterized by high level of firmness, waterproof capacity, freeze-thaw durability. Given method is functional while carrying out the following types of work: chimneys internal surface protection (both reinforced-concrete chimneys, cannels, furnaces etc and metal chimneys), repairing of reinforced-concrete columns, bridge footings, trestle bridges.
